Displaced Palestinian musician Husam Qasim performs for families living in tents in Khan Younis in southern Gaza after being forced to leave his home in Beit Lahia due to ongoing hostilities.
The 26-year-old, who has a background in music and singing, builds a makeshift drum set using basic materials available in the area where displaced families are staying. Wood, metal pieces, a food tray and bicycle parts form the components of the instrument he assembles by hand.

This is a video about our Ex race horse Yaksub. He was an ex race horse who couldn`t race anymore due to injuries. We adopted him from Singapore to give him a 2nd chance in life. He arrived in our lives on the 10th June 2023. From this time to our current day he went through many challenges from almost dying because of colic, being unhealthy, underweight, having skin and hoove problems to now having healthy weight, skin and hooves. Now he is living his best life! He has his own personal groomer taking care of his feed, stable and body condition. He also has a personal trainer to train him to understand instructions and give regular exercise. He has his own personal vet as well.
Right now my wife Murshidah Said and I are looking to rehabilitate more horses to give them a quality life. We are looking for your support to contribute any sincere amount to our campaign or share this with your family and friends. For more info or to contribute go to the link in the bio or dm.
